Return to hotel to check-out, eat lunch and travel to Duck Lake. We will take the vehicle ferry across Kootenai Lake. Therefore, we will get all of our vehicles together in the Prestige Inn parking lot at 1:00 PM and then drive together to the ferry dock east of Nelson and then on to Duck Lake. The ferry is free.

2:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Tour of Duck Lake and why it is an important linkage area between the Selkirks and Purcell Mountain Ranges.

5:00 pm

Drive to Creston, B.C. and check into the Hacienda Inn

6:00 pm
